Boule lyonnaise fans convene in eastern France from Monday where the commune of Saint-Vulbas brings together experts of the sport to compete at the World Championship for men and mixed teams.

Tuesday begins at the resort city of Antalya for wheelchair tennis experts. Part of the International Tennis Federation Wheelchair Tennis Tour, the BNP Paribas World Team Cup concludes at the end of the week. Our next stop of the UIPM Pentathlon World Cup will be in Bulgaria's capital city Sofia. Para-climbers head to Utah's Salt Lake City to compete in the IFSC World Cup

Floorball is a popular sport in Finland and Lahti is equally a favourite to host major events. On this occasion the U19 Women have their World Floorball Championship in the city with the final on Sunday. BMX and Roller Sport experts will descend on Montpellier this week for a number of major competitions. UCI presents the BMX Freestyle World Cup - Park & Flatland, while they will be joined by the World Skate Roller Freestyle Park World Cup. Snooker's masters gather in Sheffield for the World Seniors Championships. The Professional Windsurfers Association spend five days at the popular Caribbean holiday island of Aruba where the youth compete in the Slalom World Cup

Already very successful at squash, Egypt fittingly will be the hosts of the Professional Squash Association World Championships beginning on Thursday. Hungary's Szeged, located near the border with Serbia, becomes the home of the ICF Paracanoe World Championships. The FIM Long Track World Championship season begins in Germany's Herxheim. Racketlon, the sport that includes squash, tennis, table tennis and badminton, features in the town of Holbæk in Denmark for the World Doubles Championships. Real Tennis resumes at the famous Queen's Club in London for the World Masters Individual Events. Thursday closes with the WRC Rally de Portugal, the next stage of the FIA World Rally Championship in Matosinhos. 

The best school students from around the world convene in Nairobi as the search begins for the champions of the International School Sport Federation WSC Cross Country. Joining the competitions on Friday, Bacău in Romania hosts the next stage of the FIM EnduroGP World Championship. It's a busy week for gymnasts. Bulgaria's Burgas becomes the location for the FIG Acrobatics World Cup. We then add to the events at Szeged with the ICF Canoe Sprint World Cup. Both Czechia's Prague and Ostrava have been selected to showcase the IIHF Men's Ice Hockey World Championship. Casting sport features on dry land and includes the same equipment for fishing sport. Austria's Lenzing becomes the next stop of the ICSF World Cup. After Fort William in Scotland, the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup moves to Italy's Finale Outdoor Region. Parkour is the expertise to be added to Montpelier at the FIG World Cup, the second gymnastics competition of the week. The famous Le Mans race track in France hosts the next round of the FIM MotoGP World Championship. We cross the English Channel and head to The Valleys in Wales for Round 1 of the FIM Had Enduro World Championship. Rhythmic gymnastics make up the third major FIG World Cup with Portugal's Portimão chosen as the venue.

After Australia, the World Triathlon Championship Series spends Saturday in Yokohama. This also includes the World Triathlon Para Cup. Round 2 of the FIM Speedway Grand Prix features in Poland's Warsaw. The shortened version of floorball, the IFF 3x3 World Championships, will be hosted by Finland's Lahti. Formula E has already reached rounds 9 & 10 of the World Championship as the drivers race the tough Tempelhof Airport circuit in Berlin. The Netherland's Heerde features Round 2 of the FIM Sidecar Motocross World Championship. The famous Spa-Francorchamps race track in Belgium entertains the next stage of the FIA World Endurance Championship. Anglers head to the French commune of Bias as shore angling clubs compete in the World Championships. The Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City becomes the venue for Round 11 of the SuperMotocross World Championship

We complete our week with two main events on Sunday. Spain's Lugo becomes the next location of the FIM Motocross World Championship. We then cross the Atlantic to Rock Hill in South Carolina for a major BMX competition. The UCI BMX World Championships begin on Sunday and run until the following Saturday.
